LTCI has acted as an external quality monitor under Corporate Integrity Agreements (CIAs) for the Office of Inspector General (OIG) for the Department of Health and Human Services and state agencies, conducted external regulatory surveys for Federal agencies, and performed independent compliance audits for health care organizations.  These experiences over the last seventeen years uniquely position LTCI to  assist long term care providers with all aspects of their compliance program development, implementation and monitoring.

Experience

  • LTCI has consulted with individual facilities/centers, as well as regional and national long term care organizations including nursing facility/center, hospice, home health and assisted living providers to review and strengthen existing compliance programs.
  • LTCI has worked as an external quality monitor for 39, five-year OIG or State CIAs with large national or regional long term care organizations and single nursing facilities/centers to ensure compliance with quality of care standards and OIG Program Guidance for nursing facilities.
